He is a graduate of EWC and the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in Business Administration. Carl owns and operates a farm in Goshen County. He is the current secretary for the Board of Trustees. Carl is a member of the First Congregational Church where he has served in many positions. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Platte Valley Bank in Torrington. He is past president of the Community Hospital Board and has served on several agricultural organizations over the past thirty years. Carl and his wife Margaret have three married daughters and four smart grandchildren. |
Sherri LovercheckVice President 3965 Bear Creek Road La Grange, WY 82221 Home Phone: 834-2492 Area 1 – LaGrange, Iowa Center, Hawk Springs Spouse: Ron Occupation: Rancher Email: sherri@actcom.net Sherri Lovercheck was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2000. She has a B.S. in Nursing from the University of North Dakota and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver. Sherri is a retired health administrator and registered nurse. She is the past director of the Wyoming Department of Health and Social Services, past director of Panhandle Community Services–Community and Migrant Health, and worked as a psychiatric nurse for 13 years. In addition to being elected to the Eastern Wyoming College Board of Trustees, Sherri has also served as the past chair of the Goshen County Lodging Tax Board, is a member of the EWC Foundation board, served as the past commissioner of the Wyoming Commission on Women, served as the past chair of the Legal Rights and Responsibilities Committee of the Wyoming Commission for Women, served as past chair of the State Legislative Committee for the Wyoming Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Club, Inc., and was the 1988 recipient of the Wyoming Human Resource Confederation Award for Exemplary Work in Public Administration. Sherri serves as Vice-Chair for the Wyoming Association of Community College Trustees and is a volunteer for the American Cancer Society. She is a member of the Bear Creek Community Church. |

George Nash Secretary 141 Cottonwood Terrace Torrington, WY 82240 Home Phone: 532-2555 Spouse: Marcia Occupation: Realtor George Nash was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2006. He has a B.S. from Colorado State University. In 2005, George retired after 43 years as the manager of Jirdon Agri Chemical Inc. He is currently a licensed realtor in Wyoming and Nebraska. George is a member of the EWC Foundation Board, the past president of the Community Hospital Board, past president and member of the Torrington Rotary Club, and current president of the Friends of Guernsey State Park Association. His past public service includes council member for the Town of Torrington, past president of the Wyoming Grain and Feed Dealer Association, past director of the Torrington Chamber of Commerce, past member of the Goshen County Planning Commission, past president of the Goshen Care Center and Evergreen Court, and past Assistant District Governor - Rotary 5440. |

Julene Asmus was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2008. Julene graduated from Eastern Wyoming College with an Associate of Applied Science. She is Broker and Co-Owner of Premier Properties Real Estate in Torrington, WY. Julene is a member of the Lingle Presbyterian Church and serves as a Deacon. She is also a member of the Torrington Rotary, and a member and past president of the North Platte Valley Board of Realtors. |
Angie Babcock was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2010. Angie retired from EWC in 2010, having served as Testing Center Coordinator for 20 years, journalism sponsor/adjunct instructor for 16 years, and grant writer for two years. Angie has a B.S. degree in journalism from the University of Wyoming. She is a member of the Eastern Wyoming Fine Arts Council and the Southeast Wyoming Artists Association. Angie served on the Prairie Center Water Board for a number of years, is a member of Goshen Cattlewomen, where she served two years as president; and serves as a Wyoming Simmental Association Board member and treasurer. Angie has also served as a 4-H leader and member of the Goshen County 4-H Foundation Board. In Evanston, Wyoming, she was co-founder, charter member and treasurer of the Parent Teachers Association. Angie has written for and edited numerous publications/books, including “Again, Barns,” for Eastern Wyoming College; and “Goshen County Legacy of Brands, Vols. 1 and 2” for the Goshen Cattlewomen. She was a reporter for the Wyoming Eagle, Wyoming Livestock Roundup and Cow Country News; and wrote articles for “UTAH! Magazine,” “Peterson’s Field Guide to Hunting,” and “Western Horseman” magazines. She wrote a monthly column for “Western Outdoors” magazine and a weekly news release packet as Utah Division of Wildlife Resources Publications Editor. Angie and her son Tory own a cattle ranching operation, living on the family ranch her grandfather homesteaded in the Prairie Center community in 1913. She is a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Torrington, where she served as organist for many years. |

John Patrick was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2010. Mr. Patrick previously served three terms on the Board from 1986 through 1998. In addition, he served as Board President from 1993-1998. |
