The Housing Council is an informal group of on-campus residents who are interested in improving the quality of on-campus living. The basic functions of the Housing Council are as follows:
- To advise and implement, with approval of the Housing Director, Dean of Students, and the College Board, policies, regulations, and procedures for the improvement of residence hall living.
- To coordinate housing activities.
- To maintain close two-way communication between the student residents and the College.
- To provide opportunities for the residents to participate in residence hall government.
- To evaluate environmental factors which influence the general welfare of residents.
