EWC rodeo team

10155488_618726361546214_7938140029818994668_nThe Eastern Wyoming College Lancer rodeo team recently returned from the annual rodeo hosted by Colorado State University held in Fort Collins, CO.

Leading the team was AJ Freeman, freshman, Dunning, NE, who was first in the first round of tie down roping. In the short go, he was 5th which placed him 4th in the average. Teammate Josh Davison, sophomore, Miles City, MT, was 4th in the short go and 5th in the average. Freshman Cody Lane, Torrington, WY, tied for 2nd in the first round.

In the team roping, Max Zimmerman, sophomore, Harrison, NE, and partner Danni Hinman from CSC were 4th in the average. Shane Suchy, sophomore, Tryon, NE, and partner Shane Friede, freshman, Johnstown, CO, finished the weekend in 6th place in the average.

Sophomore Dustin Dailey, Long Pine, NE, was 3rd in the average.

EWC freshman bull rider Dalton Cunningham, Bloomfield, NE, was 2nd in the first round.

In the goat tying, sophomore Mardee Sierks, Brewster, NE was 6th in the average.

The next rodeo will be April 25-27 in Laramie.
