During its 2004 session, the Wyoming State Legislature enacted legislation to establish an endowment program for the State's community colleges, known as the Wyoming Community College Endowment Challenge.
The purpose of the program is to build an endowment at the College to benefit and promote the College mission, operation, programs and activities. Further it is to encourage private giving to the College Foundation, with the incentive that the State of Wyoming will provide an equal match for every gift received.
Donations can be outright gifts or they can be pledged over a four-year period through 2009. All gifts received privately and the matching portion from the State will be placed in an account, never to be spent. Only the interest generated by this endowed account will be used to support the College activity chosen by the donor.
Every dollar donated to Eastern Wyoming College over the next four years has the potential to be doubled by the Endowment Challenge Program.
Donors can add to an existing endowment fund or create one of their own. This means that if you give any amount to an endowment at the EWC Foundation, the State of Wyoming will add an equal amount to the same fund, whether you give $1, $100, $1,000 or even $1 million or more!

- Scholarships
