Application Procedures for Admission and Federal Financial Aid
Thank you for applying for financial aid at Eastern Wyoming College. In order to process your application for all possible aid, please select the correct student classification below and follow the directions provided. Please complete this process at least six weeks prior to your enrollment to ensure funds are available to pay your education expenses.
Entering EWC Freshman (first time enrolling in a college)
- Complete the EWC Application for Admission (even if you are a part-time student).
- Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), listing EWC's Federal School Code (003929). Also available in Spanish.
- Have an official high school or GED transcript sent to EWC. If you are currently a high school senior, please submit a current transcript and then a final official transcript upon graduation.
Transfer Student (attended any other college prior to enrollment at EWC)
- Complete the EWC Application for Admission (even if you are a part-time student).
- Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), listing EWC's Federal School Code (003929). Also available in Spanish.
- Please be aware that financial aid does not "automatically" transfer from one school to another. Contact the Financial Aid Office if you have any questions.
- Have an official grade transcript sent to EWC from all college(s) you have previously attended.
- Have an official high school or GED transcript sent to EWC.
Continuing Student (has completed at least one semester at EWC)
- Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), listing EWC's Federal School Code (003929).
Other Information
- To apply for Institutional Grants & Scholarships, please complete EWC's Application for Admission.
- Some scholarships require the submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). It is highly recommended that you submit a FAFSA.
- Complete the Continuing Student Scholarship Application.
Summer Award
All summer students seeking scholarships or federal financial aid must complete an Application for Summer Financial Aid. Availability of scholarships and federal financial aid for summer is limited. A seperate award package is created for the summer semester.
