Community Education Classes Scheduled to Start

(Torrington, WY October 23, 2002) Several Eastern Wyoming College Community Education classes are scheduled to start. These classes include:

  • Beginning Conversational Spanish will meet Mondays Oct. 28 - Dec. 16, 12 -1pm at EWC CTCI Room. This class will provide the opportunity to brush up or maintain your conversational Spanish. Or, learn it for the first time. Bring your lunch.
  • Amish Colors, Amish Quilts, intended to familiarize students about the Amish people and their quilt history. The focus will be on examining color interaction with the opportunity to make a fun Amish quilt wall hanging. Sewing skills are not necessary. This class is scheduled for Nov. 5 & 12 from 7 - 9pm at EWC CTCI Room.
  • Basic Outlook E-mail is designed to cover basic features of e-mailing in Outlook. Other topics include setting up a personal address book, creating distribution lists, and organizing your messages. This class will meet Oct. 28 from 6-8pm at EWC CTCC Room.
  • Lancers Black & Gold Club is for children 4 -12. Children can join the Lancer?s Black & Gold Club for $6. Each child will receive a Lancer Black & Gold Club T-Shirt and membership card. By wearing the T-Shirt to any Lancer basketball or volleyball home game, the child is admitted for free. Drawings will be held at the games and winners will be allowed to be the water person at the next upcoming game.
