Christmas Week at EWC

(Torrington, WY November 8, 2002) Eastern Wyoming College announces plans to begin the Christmas holiday season with a week of festivities and entertainment. A Christmas lighting ceremony along with entertainment from the collegiate choir, community choir, rainbow chorus, and a group that sing a cappella, will kick the week off on Tuesday, December 3 starting at 7:00 p.m. A reception will follow in the campus library.
The EWC Christmas concert will be Thursday, December 5 beginning at 7:00 p.m., and will feature the collegiate choir and band, community choir, rainbow chorus, and a cappella singers. The admission fee for this event will be a canned food donation for Goshen Care and Share.
On Friday, December 6, the Goshen Community Theatre, Inc., an affiliate of EWCs Outreach and Community Education program, will debut by performing Phillip Van Doren Sterns story, Its A Wonderful Life, with the curtain going up at 7:00 p.m. On Saturday, December 7, they will have a 2:00 p.m. matinee and perform again at 7:00 p.m., and will close their performance after a 2:00 p.m. matinee on Sunday, December 8. General admission tickets for $5 and Senior and children tickets for $3, may be purchased at Pinnacle Bank, Vandel Drug, Main Street Market and the EWC Outreach and Community Education office.
