EWC Presents Free Financial Aid Workshop

(Torrington, WY) Eastern Wyoming College Financial Aid office will host a free workshop, with door prizes and refreshments, on Monday, February 24, 2003 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the EWC cafeteria. Financial aid professionals will be available to answer general questions about financial aid and scholarships and to assist in completing financial aid forms. EWC scholarships deadline is March 15. If you are wanting assistance with Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), bring a copy of your 2002 tax return and W2's. Parents of dependent students are encouraged to attend.
Pam Palermo, EWC Financial Aid Director, remarked, This workshop is for high school seniors and their parents as well as any non-traditional student. If you've had any inclination to earn a degree or return to school but need financial assistance, this is a great opportunity to find out what is available, at EWC or any other institution.
Tanya Howery, Coordinator of High School and College Relations, will be available to help with admissions paperwork and to provide campus tours.
