Goshen County Spring Enrollment Increase at EWC

(Torrington, WY) Preliminary figures show a 2.0% increase in headcount for the main campus of Eastern Wyoming Colleges Goshen County enrollment. The Institutional Research Office at EWC releases Day 1 enrollment and Day 10 enrollment figures at the beginning of each semester. The final enrollment reports for the Spring 2003 semester will not be completed until summer. The Spring 2003 Goshen County report shows the largest Day 10 full-time and total headcount since
Spring 1998.

The Goshen County Day 10 Full Time Equivalency (FTE) showed an increase of 5.1% or 30.63 FTE compared to Spring 2002. This is the largest Spring Day 10 FTE EWC has experienced since Spring 1998. FTE figures are used by the Wyoming Community College Commission as part of the funding formula determining resource allocations for each of the community colleges across the state.

Final enrollment reports on the Fall 2002 semester should be released the latter part of February. Preliminary reports showed an increase in the fall 2002 semester as well.
