EWC to Host Spring Concert

(Torrington, WY) Eastern Wyoming College Music Department will present their Spring Concert on Thursday, May 1, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium. The EWC Collegiate Choir, Community Choir and Bands will perform an eclectic concert featuring jazz favorites, movie themes and overtures.
The EWC Band will open the concert with several selections including the theme from the film "Shakespeare In Love." The Collegiate Choir will follow with a group jazz and pop favorites such as "The Nearness of You," "Sh-Boom," and "A Wink And A Smile." Finally, the Choir will end the concert with an eclectic group of songs, from the peaceful "Irish Blessing," to a group of old country favorites from the film "O Brother, Where Art Thou?"
