EWC Golf Team Finishes Season

(Torrington, WY) The Eastern Wyoming College Golf team finished their season the weekend of April 27-29, 2003 in Gothenburg, Nebraska in twelfth place. It was not the most successful year for the golfers as the team struggled through the season with only four players. "I was very frustrated this year with the players we lost at semester. That made it very hard for the other players to concentrate to their fullest to complete the season full blast. They knew they didn't have a very good chance to make a great showing," according to Coach Mike Dawkins. "Next year I hope to have enough players to make a cushion and expect to lose a player or so and still have a competitive team."
