EWC Announces Committee Chair in Major Gifts Campaign

(Torrington, WY) Gary Olson, President of Olson Tire, Inc. and TDS Environmental Services will serve as chair of the Selection and Enlistment Committee for the Eastern Wyoming College Major Gifts Campaign, announced Kate Kelly,
chair of the College Foundation Board.
"Gary is an outstanding community leader and will provide the necessary guidance so important to the successful enlistment of leaders for the campaign," Kelly said.
The purpose of the committee is to select a campaign general chair or co-chairs, to assist in soliciting leadership gifts, and to be available to assist in the selection and enlistment of other campaign leaders.
"The motivating force behind any successful appeal is leadership who is influential and well-respected," Olson said. "The committees first responsibility is to recruit those who will provide the best leadership for Eastern Wyoming Colleges campaign."
Assisting Olson as members of the committee are Mary Lou Atkins, Ted Bentley, Dolores Kaufman, Jamie Madden, Jeff Marsh, Todd Peterson, and Bill Rueb.
"Positions of leadership in the campaign must be filled by influential and respected members of the EWC family and the community," Kelly said. "The administration and members of the Board of Trustees and Foundation Board have taken initiative to insure that leading citizens served by the college, themselves included, accept responsible roles in the campaign."
"I'm grateful that Gary Olson and the other members of the Selection and Enlistment Committee have agreed to assist EWC," said College President Jack Bottenfield. "This distinguished group will enhance our ability to reach our goal."
