EWC Instructor Publishes Tenth Novel

John Nesbitt, Eastern Wyoming College English/Spanish Instructor, has published his tenth
traditional Western novel, Red Wind Crossing. This novel was released on October
28, 2003, and will be available wherever books are sold. Other recent novels
by Nesbitt include Black Hat Butte, For the Norden Boys, and
Man From Wolf River. He also has written textbooks, essays and short stories. All
these accomplishments as a writer have landed him on the literary map. Nesbitt
is one of nineteen writers with roots in the state of Wyoming who is featured
in Deep West, A Literary Tour of Wyoming, a book commissioned by the
Wyoming Center for the Book. This book showcases writers that "best exemplify
writing literature in Wyoming prior to 2000," according to Nesbitt. Other featured writers in the book include
Wyoming Poet Laureate Robert Roripaugh and Annie Proulx. Modestly Nesbitt added, "It is a great honor to
be included in the book."
