EWC Rodeo Team Has Success at Lamar College Rodeo

(Torrington, WY) The Eastern Wyoming College Rodeo traveled to Lamar Community College April 23rd through the 25th.
In the Tie Down Roping, Billy Grant placed 1st in the short go and placed 2nd in the average. Grant also placed 3rd in short go and the average in Team Roping with partner TJ Kraft. Rory Wendt and Kyle Chrisman placed 2nd in the long go, while Brock Merrill and Kean Edwards placed 3rd in the long go. Jamie Tafoya placed 1st in the long go in Barrels while Tyffani Hansen qualified in the top ten.
Jack Clark, EWC rodeo coach, commended Billy Grant on his success. "Billy is a great competitor. He is definitely an asset to our team. I'm anxious to see how he finishes the season."
The next rodeo is scheduled for April 30th through May 2nd in Laramie.
