EASTERN WYOMING COLLEGE RODEO TEAM HAS SUCCESS AT CHADRON COLLEGE RODEO

TORRINGTON, WY - The Eastern Wyoming College rodeo team recently traveled to Crawford, NE to compete in the Chadron State College rodeo.
The EWC men’s team finished in second place in the team competition.
In Saddle Bronc Riding, Derek Kenner placed 2 nd overall. Jayce Johnson placed 2 nd with an overall time of 26.4 in Calf Roping.
In Steer Wrestling, Mike Wiedman’s overall score was 12.6 placing him 3 rd in the average. Kyle Lozier won the Bull Riding competition with 81 points while Willie Grimm placed 4 th with 72 points.
In Barrel Racing, Erin Gorsuch placed 4 th in the average with Chelsie Schaefer placing 5 th.
The next rodeo is scheduled for October 7 th through the 9 th at Lamar Community College in Lamar, CO.
