EWC Adult Basic Education Instructor Training Held

TORRINGTON, WY - Fall training for EWC Adult Basic Education Instructors was held in Lusk on October 28th. There were 28 in attendance with attendees from Douglas, Glenrock, Hulett, Lusk, Moorcroft, Newcastle, Sundance, Torrington, and Wheatland along with the Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp and the Wyoming's Women's Center.

Session topics included telephone etiquette, goal setting, essay writing, action learning, manipulative math, situational skills, and writing skills.

Everyone was able to take home new ideas to incorporate into their programs. The session instructors included Dr. Dee Ludwig, EWC Associate Dean of Instruction; Karen Johnson, EWC ABE/GED Coordinator; Shannon Lunsford, ABE/GED instructor from Douglas; Kaye Lively, instructor from Torrington; and Shirley Cain, instructor from Glenrock.
