CISCO Representative visits Eastern Wyoming College

TORRINGTON, WY - Computer science students at recent technology day held at Eastern Wyoming College were able to meet CISCO Systems representative Joe Behrends. He is the Wyoming account manager.
Behrends topic was opportunities. My goal was to talk to the students about opportunities in the marketplace. If they really like computer science, then they should be aware of the opportunities. He mentioned several options locally, state-wide, nationally and globally. Students who pursue computer science careers have many options available to them.
This technology day held by EWC is very good and very welcoming, Behrends responded. CISCO systems provided 2 computer backpacks, CISCO networking books, pens and calculators that were given away during technology day.
Eugene Porter, EWC Computer Science Instructor had invited Behrends to be a part of technology day. EWC has a great partnership with CISCO and our networking students benefit greatly from this partnership. It was great to have Joe here for Technology Day. The students really enjoyed his door prizes!
