EWC's Associate of Arts and Associate of Science graduates scored higher than the national average on the CAAP Test

TORRINGTON, WY - Eastern Wyoming College's 55 Associate of Arts and Associate of Science spring 2005 graduates scored higher than the national average on the CAAP Test in all subject areas which includes: writing skills, mathematics, reading, critical thinking and science. There were 47 out of the 55 students (86% of those tested) from the spring 2006 graduates who scored higher than the national mean in one or more of the above-named subject areas. The Collegiate Assessment of Academic Proficiency (CAAP) evaluates the progress of EWC graduation candidates and the effectiveness of the educational programs, and these results demonstrate the quality of the transfer education provided at Eastern Wyoming College.
