EWC Veterinary Technology Club Presents Fall Series

The Eastern Wyoming College Veterinary Technology Club will be offering a Fall 2007 Lecture Series. This free series will begin on September 29th and conclude on November 17th.

On September 29th at 3:00 pm in the EWC Fine Arts Auditorium, attendees will hear Dr. Hana Van Campen address "Bovine Viral Diarrhea: Who’s at risk and how can it be prevented." Dr. Van Campen is the Associate Professor of Microbiology at Colorado State University, Veterinary Medical Center.

The second lecture will be "Zoonosis in Large Animals" by Dr. Ken Mills from the University of Wyoming Diagnostic Lab. Dr. Mills is a Veterinary Sciences and Bacteriology professor at UW. This lecture will take place on October 27th at 3:00 pm in the EWC Fine Arts Auditorium.

The final lecture will take place on November 17, 3:00 pm in the EWC Fine Arts Auditorium. It will be "Avian Influenza and Pandemic Influenza" by Dr. Kristy Pabilonia. Dr. Pabilonia is an Avian Disease Veterinarian and Assistant Professor at Colorado State University, Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratories.
