EWC to Host Book Signing

TORRINGTON, WY -
Eastern Wyoming College will be holding a book signing featuring the book Along the Grapevine Trail, by Starley Talbott. This free event will be held on Saturday, August 2, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the EWC Student Center.
Talbott has been a freelance writer for more than thirty years. She is a graduate of Chugwater High School in Chugwater, Wyoming; the University of Wyoming; and the University of Nevada-Reno. She has served as a volunteer with the United States Peace Corps in South Africa, Global Volunteers in China and a private foundation in Peru.
Her first book, Lasso the World, is a travel memoir published in 2004. Talbott's current book, Along the Grapevine Trail, tells the stories of modern-day pioneers who have established vineyards and wineries in Wyoming, Nebraska and South Dakota. Readers can enjoy an armchair journey or a real journey along the grapevine trail. There are suggested routes, maps, names, locations and contact information for all the vineyards and wineries in the three state area.
Talbott and her husband are members of the Wyoming Grape and Wine Growers Association and grow a small vineyard between Chugwater and Wheatland, Wyoming.
