EWC Student Brings Home the Gold at National SkillsUSA Competition

TORRINGTON, WY -
Eastern Wyoming College students recently traveled to Kansas City, MO to compete in the SkillsUSA National Competition. Liz Stizman, Cheyenne, WY, brought home the gold medal for her performance in the prepared speech competition.
Others competing for EWC are listed below:
Cody Wesch, Torrington, WY - Job Demonstration A, 10th place
Ashlee Wilson, Wheatland, WY - Related Technical Math, 6th place
Mitch Falkenburg, Douglas, WY - Welding, 9th place
Stizman and Falkenburg will be representing Wyoming SkillsUSA and EWC as state officers.
"The students did a great job and we are very proud of them," added SkillsUSA advisor Pete Cawiezel.
