EWC Offers Flux Core Arc Welding Course

TORRINGTON, WY -

Eastern Wyoming College will be conducting a Flux Cored Arc Welding course in Newcastle, WY on June 22 through July 2, 2009. This class will provide 80 hours of training to develop manual skills necessary to make high quality welds in all positions on mild steel. Participants will learn how to produce high quality welds for structural and maintenance welding purposes. American Welding Society (AWS) certification testing will be conducted.

All materials and books for this course will be provided. The class will be held at Newcastle High School using the Eastern Wyoming College mobile welding lab. Each person will have access to their own welding booth for the duration of the training. The class is limited to 7 participants. The cost is $2,895 per person.

The mobile welding lab allows EWC the flexibility to provide customized welding training on several different processes. The College can also train and test to AWS, ASME and API codes.
