Lancer Players Receive Academic All American Honors

TORRINGTON, WY -
Two Eastern Wyoming College Lancer athletes have received Distinguished Academic All-American awards from the National Junior College Athletic Association. Those recognized were Lora Hill and Caleb Moore.
Hill, a sophomore volleyball player from Evanston, Wyoming, majors in elementary education. She has transferred to Brigham Young University - Idaho at Rexburg, Idaho to continue her studies.
Moore, a sophomore basketball player from Torrington, Wyoming, is an interdisciplinary studies major. He intends to transfer on to finish his degree.
The Distinguished Academic All-American awards recognize athletes for their academic course work. Recipients of the award must have completed a minimum of 45 credit hours with a cumulative grade point average of 3.80 or higher and participated in athletics.
