EWC Partners with WY Quality Counts to Offer Business and Leadership Training

Eastern Wyoming College has announced a partnership with the Wyoming Quality Counts program to offer professional development opportunities.
“Roles of Supervisors & Staff” is the first in a series of courses to be offered in Torrington and other various sites throughout the region via the WEN video network. Additional sites include Douglas, Glenrock, Lusk, Moorcroft, Newcastle & Wheatland.
This workshop will be held on Monday, October 10th , from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
Workshops to be held on Saturday, October 22nd include:
8 am – 10 am Business Planning: Revising & Improving Your Plan
10 am – 12 pm Preparing Financial Statements & Analyzing Profit/Loss in Your Business
12 pm – 2 pm Using Effective Communication Strategies with Coworkers & Parents
2 pm – 4 pm Healthy Conflict Resolution Skill Building
Saturday, November 12th:
8 am – 10 am Personality Styles in the Workplace
10 am – 12 pm Recognizing & Referring Children with Developmental Delays
12 pm – 2 pm Leadership Skills for Working with Families Today
2 pm – 4 pm Drafting & Implementing Written Parent/Provider Agreements
The final workshop in the fall series will take place on Monday, December 5th:
6:30 pm – 8:30 pm Personality Styles in the Workplace.
