English Department: Program Description
The English Department at Eastern Wyoming College offers a high quality, traditional literature program which is ideally suited for transfer to most universities. Students may study both American and English literature with highly-qualified instructors. A Creative Writing Club is available to all students who like to write fiction, poetry, and essays. All courses are taught by professionals, not by graduate teaching assistants.
John Nesbitt has a PhD in literature and a well-established career as a writer of traditional Westerns. His books are regularly published by Leisure Books for national distribution, and he has short story collections and a contemporary Western in print as well. Nesbitt is a well-recognized Wyoming writer.
