Student Labs: Computer labs for student use are located all over campus.
- Library Lab – Library Hours.
- Advanced Technology Center – Tebbet, Room 271, use by instructor permission only
- Business Technology Center – Tebbet, Room 273, use by instructor permission only
- Math/Science Lab – Tebbet, Room 209 – Special software for Math-Science students
- Learning Skills Lab – Tebbet, Room 140 – Special software for building reading and math skills
- Vet-Tech Lab – Veterinary Technology Building – Special software for Vet-Tech students
- Mechanical Arts Lab – Mechanical Arts, Room 101 – Special software for Mechanical Arts, Agriculture, Welding and Drafting students
- Student Center Internet Access – Internet access is available in the Student Center during normal hours of operation
- Dormitories – Computers for word processing are available in several rooms in both dormitories. Check with Dorm Resident Assistants for locations and access.

Mission
The mission of EWC Computer Services is to provide Eastern Wyoming College staff, faculty, and students with timely and cost effective access to information technology appropriate to the mission and goals of Eastern Wyoming College, and to provide assistance and advice in its use.
Services
What we provide for you
Computers as a tool for your use on campus. There are (5) classroom labs on campus and one student lab. The classroom labs are TEB 209 (Math-Science lab), TEB 140 (LSL), TEB 271 (ATC), TEB 273 (BTC), Vet-Tech lab, and Mechanical Arts lab. Use of the classroom labs is by instructor permission. The student lab is located in the Library.
Free access to workstations & storage. A network account is provided to you as part of your tuition and fees. Files saved to the network storage can be accessed from any campus computer (except the dorms).
Free access to the Internet and your e-mail. You may sign up for web-based e-mail through Hotmail, Juno, Yahoo! or any other web-based e-mail provider. The college does not provide an email account for you.
Programs on the computers: The college provides software in the labs that is used for the classes taught on campus. This includes word processors, spreadsheet programs, browsers for Internet access, and specialty programs related to certain courses of study.
Adobe Reader is required for viewing and printing Your Responsibilities. You can get Adobe Reader at this link or by clicking the icon below.
Your Responsibilities
You must have a network account. You will be issued an account within 48 hours of completion of registration. This will be completed at the Help Desk located in Student Services. Please read the EWC Administrative Rule regarding computer use.
Protect your account name and password. You are responsible for any activity on your account. Do not share or give your account name and password to anybody for any reason.
Do not distribute offensive material. Although we do not censor use of the internet, you are accountable for your actions regarding the access and distribution of offensive content. You may be subject to disciplinary action if a complaint is made.
Don’t attempt to install your programs on EWC machines. This could be a violation of copyright laws and you could be prosecuted. Do not attempt to copy EWC programs to take home to your machines. This would also violate copyright laws.
Downloading Files.
The downloading, unauthorized use, duplication, or sharing of copyrighted materials such as music, images, text, multimedia, commercial software, etc. is strictly prohibited.Keep ‘em clean! No food or drink are allowed in computer classrooms. Soft drinks will kill a keyboard. If you damage a machine, it inconveniences everyone.
Employment Opportunities
Work-Study Technical Assistant: Each semester Computer Services department hires one work-study student employee to assist in computer repair and programming. If you are interested in this job, complete the online student employment process.
Technical Support
Please report problems with campus computers to your instructor or lab assistant, who will work with Computer Services on your behalf.
