Application Procedures for Admission and Financial Aid
Select the correct student classification below and follow the directions provided.
Entering EWC Freshman (first time enrolling in a college)
- Complete the EWC Application for Admission (even if you are a part-time student).
- Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), listing EWC's Federal School Code (003929) in step 6 of the FAFSA.
- Have a grade transcript sent to EWC from the high school you have previously attended. If you are currently a high school senior, your sixth-semester high school transcript will be sufficient.
Transfer Student (attended any other college prior to enrollment at EWC)
- Complete the EWC Application for Admission (even if you are a part-time student).
- Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), listing EWC's Federal School Code (003929) in step 6 of the FAFSA.
- Please be aware that financial aid does not "automatically" transfer from one school to another. Contact the Financial Aid Office if you have any questions.
- Have a grade transcript sent to EWC from the college(s) you have previously attended.
Continuing Student (has completed at least one semester at EWC)
- Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), listing EWC's Federal School Code (003929) in step 6 of the FAFSA.
- Complete the Continuing Student Application for Financial Aid.

NOTE: If you were not in attendance during the previous semester, including summer, you must apply for readmission.
Other Information
- To apply for Institutional Grants & Scholarships, fill out EWC's Application for Admission.
- Some scholarships require the submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). It is highly recommended that you submit a FAFSA.

By completing and submitting a FAFSA, you will automatically be
considered for Federal Aid, as well as Institutional Scholarships and Grants. For the fastest processing time, complete the FAFSA online and sign electronically with a PIN (apply for a PIN at www.pin.ed.gov) You can also obtain a FAFSA from high school guidance counselors or from any college financial aid office.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is also available in Spanish in the Financial Aid Office. The FAFSA is also available in Spanish at the FAFSA on the Web website.
