Economics

A major in Economics will prepare students for private and/or government employment.  The demand for Economists is strong because of the growing complexity of human interaction locally, nationally, and internationally. The science of Economics provides tools and models that can be used to better delineate problems and

provide detailed analyses of alternative solutions to those problems. The Associate of Science Degree in Economics provides a solid foundation for the student to transfer to a four-year institution and continue further studies toward a Bachelor’s Degree and beyond.
