Bio
Jamie Michael graduated from the veterinary technology program at Eastern Wyoming College in 2001 with an Associates of Applied Science. She then worked in veterinary clinics in Wyoming and South Dakota. In 2009, she returned to Torrington, Wyoming and began working for a local veterinary clinic. In 2014, she became a veterinary technology instructor at Eastern Wyoming College and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College. In December of 2017, Jamie graduated with her Masters degree in Veterinary Medical Sciences. She is a member of the Wyoming Veterinary Technician Association (WYVTA), the Association of Veterinary Technician Educators (AVTE), and the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA). Jamie has 4 cats, and 5 dogs.
Kerry Weaver

Kerry Weaver graduated from the veterinary technology program at Eastern Wyoming College in 2001 with an Associates of Applied Science. She then worked in veterinary clinics in Colorado. In 2015, she switched careers and began working as a medical assistant, and started working toward her nursing degree. In 2016 she became a certified nursing assistant. After some time she decided she wanted to return to working with animals and moved back to Torrington in 2018 to accept the position as the animal care technician. Kerry currently has 3 cats, 2 dogs, 1 horse, and a Guinea Pig.
