 Bio

Dr. Walker graduated from Colorado State University in 1997 with a degree in veterinary medicine. She worked in a mixed veterinary practice in Laramie before moving to Torrington, Wyoming and working for Bear Creek Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Walker became a veterinary technology program instructor at Eastern Wyoming College in 2001. Dr. Walker also serves on the Wyoming Veterinary Medical Association (WVMA) Board. She was appointed program director in 2014.

Bio

Dr. Bittner graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in 1975. He also received a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the College of Agriculture at the University of Wyoming in Microbiology. He began his career in veterinary medicine as the Base Veterinarian at Canon AFB, New Mexico and later as the Chief of Veterinary Services at Eielson AFB, Alaska. Dr. Bittner then owned and operated Hot Springs Road Veterinary Service, a mixed veterinary practice, for 20 years in Two Rivers, Alaska. Dr. Bittner became a veterinary technology instructor at Eastern Wyoming College in 2001.

 Bio

Jamie Michael graduated from the veterinary technology program at Eastern Wyoming College in 2001 with an Associates of Applied Science. She then worked in veterinary clinics in Wyoming and South Dakota. In 2009, she returned to Torrington, Wyoming and began working for a local veterinary clinic. in 2014, she became a veterinary technology instructor at Eastern Wyoming College and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College, in 2014. She is a member of the Wyoming Veterinary Technician Association (WYVTA),  Association of Veterinary Technician Educators (AVTE), and the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA). Jamie has 4 cats, and 5 dogs.

Bio

Cristi Semmler graduated from Ridgewater College in 2004, with an Associates of Applied Science. She has a Bachelor’s in Equine Science from Colorado State University, a certification in equine sports massage therapy, and has 9 years experience with emergency medicine. Cristi is a member of NAVTA, WYVTA, the Association of Veterinary Technician Educators (AVTE), the American Association of Laboratory Animal Sciences (AALAS), the Laboratory Animal Welfare Training Exchange (LAWTE)and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management (IVAPM). Cristi is also a member of the VetFolio Advisory Panel, which is a collaboration of the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) and the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) , the two leading nonprofit associations in the veterinary industry today. Cristi became a veterinary technology instructor at Eastern Wyoming College in 2014. Cristi is the faculty sponsor for the veterinary technology club on campus, and she has a dog, 3 cats and several horses.

Bio

Autumn Pierce graduated from Eastern Wyoming College in 2014 with an Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. After graduation, she worked for a veterinary practice in Western Nebraska. She is a member of the Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA) as well as the Association of Veterinary Technician Educators (AVTE). Autumn is furthering her education by pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at St. Petersburg College. At home she has a dog and 3 cats.
