Position: Part-Time, Non-Exempt, Non-Benefitted, 15 Hours Weekly, Monday-Friday from 4-7 pm while school is in session

Summary:
- Work in the College Cafeteria as a member of the Food Services Team
- Assist in multiple areas, to include, but not limited to, clearing and cleaning tables, stocking inventory, cleaning dishes, sweeping and mopping the floor, and other related duties as assigned
- Know and follow industry required safe food handling standards
- Duty location is the Main Campus in Torrington
Essential Duties:
- Assist Food Services Manager and Cooks in completing required tasks
- Maintain cleanliness of work spaces within kitchen and cafeteria
- Perform dish washing, table cleaning, and sweeping and mopping floors
- Stock inventory items on shelves
- Greet/treat cafeteria customers in a courteous and professional manner
- When required, aid food preparation, serving line set-up, serving food, and replenishing food items on serving line
- Perform all other kitchen/cafeteria duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or HS Equivalency Certificate
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Willingness to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Previous kitchen and/or cafeteria experience is desired
Hourly Wage Rate: $8.94 – $9.50 per hour (depending on experience)
