SME Scholarship
The Central Wyoming Chapter of the Society of Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration (SME) is offering $2,000 scholarships for a select handful of outstanding college students!
Any student that has the intent of pursuing a degree in the mining industry, mineral processing, geology, or another related science field is invited to apply.
Deadline to apply: March 28th (Early applications are highly encouraged!)
Requirements:
1. Needs to be a College Student entering Sophomore or Higher year (Please read through the notice document to make sure you are qualified!)
2. College Application filled
3. Essay on “The Importance of Mineral Extraction to WY”
4. College/University Transcripts
