Arcelay signs to continue golf career

Eastern Wyoming College sophomore Gonzalo Arcelay, Munguia, Spain, has signed to continue his golf career at Wingate University in Wingate, NC.

“The Coach gave me a good opportunity,” said Arcelay. “I really like the Coach, he has lots of experience and is a good guy. There are a lot of international players on the team so I will fit well.”

EWC Coach Zach Smith added the following, “Gonzalo got another opportunity to play because of his hard work and desire to play at the next level. He is one of the hardest working and hungriest players I know. He is also a team player. He wants success not only for himself, but for the team. I’m excited for him. It’s fun to see his hard work pay off.”
