Community invited to Men’s Basketball Coach/Fitness Center Director open forums

Eastern Wyoming College is searching for a new head Men’s Basketball Coach and Fitness Center Director to begin on July 1, 2018.  Following Selection Committee review and consideration of applications, the College has identified three final candidates for on-campus, in-person interviews.  The three interviews will include a 60-minute Open Forum in Room 131-132 of the Tebbet Building.

Community members are invited to attend and participate in this event starting at 2:00 pm on April 16, April 18, and April 19, 2018.  At these three times community members will be introduced respectively to final candidates: Andy Ward, Associate Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Idaho State University (Pocatello, ID); Brian Erickson, Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Northwest College (Powell, WY); and Tim Moser, Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Colorado State University (Fort Collins, CO).

Each final candidate will deliver a 15-minute presentation covering Coaching Philosophy, Team Vision, Recruiting, and Fitness Center management.  The presentations will be followed by 45 minutes of questions and answers from staff, students, and community members.

Eastern Wyoming College welcomes local input to this process that will identify and select the most qualified and best fit individual to serve as the next Lancer Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Fitness Center Director.
