Eastern Wyoming College receives Wyoming Challenge Grant GED funds

TORRINGTON, WY –
Eastern Wyoming College is participating in the Wyoming Challenge Grant which pays the GED testing fees for low-income individuals. The grant is funded by the US Department of Education and administered by the University of Wyoming. Qualifying students who intend to enter college or a career/technical program are eligible for a GED fee waiver under this grant. A short application and eligibility form will need to be completed by the student and/or parents and guardians.
The Adult Basic Education Program at EWC offers assistance to adult learners to prepare for the GED examination. Flexible scheduling is available for individualized instruction. To find out more, contact Diane McQueen, ABE Director at 307.532.8285.
