EWC Adult Education instructors recognized for certification training

Eastern Wyoming College President Dr. Richard Patterson presents Adult Education (AE) program Director Diane McQueen with a plaque from the Wyoming Community College Commissions at a recent In-Service.

Three EWC instructors from the AE program earned National Career Pathways Certification as endorsed by the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning in Chicago, IL. Diane McQueen, Torrington, WY; Dr. Sandy Cooper, Wheatland, WY; and Terri Griffin, Douglas, WY were presented with their Career Pathways Certification on April 22, 2016. In recognition of these completions, the Wyoming Community College Commission’s Adult Education program officially recognized the Adult Education Centers in Torrington, Wheatland, and Douglas as official Career Pathways Centers for the State of Wyoming.

“I am confident that the effort and zeal of your Adult Education Team will continue to improve the lives of Adult Education students and to build the workforce in EWC’s service area,” said Joseph McCann, Ph.D., Programs Team Leader.
