EWC announces a Fly Tying Club
Tuesday, October 6th, 2015 • 5:35 am
The Community Education office at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington is now accepting enrollments for the Fly Tying Club workshops. This workshop will be held one Wednesday of each month beginning October 14 from 6:30- 9:00 pm through December 9 with a cost of $12 per session.
Fly Tying Club is a chance to meet with fellow anglers, share and learn new fly tying recipes, and have a few hours with like-minded fly casting enthusiasts, chatting about all things fly fishing. This is not a class for beginners, there will be a beginner’s class offered in the spring semester. Club members are asked to sign up to bring a new fly recipe to one session to demonstrate and teach, along with any special materials to share with all members.
The membership fee for this offering will be used by Community Education to purchase refreshments for the club and supplies for the Beginner’s Fly Tying classes. Pre-registration by 10:00am on the day before each session is essential so the instructors of the session have an idea of what supplies will be needed.
To register for this workshop or others classes, contact the EWC Community Education office at 307.532.8213 or 307.532.8323 or stop by to visit them at 3200 West C Street in Torrington.
