OBAMACARE 101: Affordable Health Care Insurance
Facilitator: Jeff Richardson, Kenna VanPelt, Rich Wessenberg
You are a Wyoming resident! You are concerned about health care! You want to be informed! But . . . understanding the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 can be like putting together a 5,000 piece jigsaw puzzle in a windstorm. And, as the first day of the 3 month enrollment period for Wyoming’s “federally facilitated health insurance marketplace” is just around the corner, the wind is picking up speed. Sure, you can get on-line and try to wade through the 76,600,000+ possibilities, or you can let Jeff and team help you put the pieces in the right places as they summarize the law and how it will affect you, regardless of whether or not you are currently covered by an individual or group plan; lay out the future timeline of health care reform; clarify coverage costs and care; and outline the better options, better value, better health and stronger Medicare components of this “law of the land”. The first session will be an informational overview with 30 minutes for questions and answers. The next two sessions will be designed to address specific concerns and to delve deeper into the provision s of the law. Although the facilitators are experts in the field of health insurance, this is NOT a sales pitch. This class is free
