EWC Community Education highlights upcoming Miniature Gardens, Terrariums and Fairy Garden class

The Community Education Department at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington will have a miniature garden, terrariums, and fairy gardens class on Thursday March 30.  This class will be held at Great Gardens from 5:30-7:30 pm and will cost $35.

Miniature gardens, whether in the form of a terrarium container or a fairy garden, are becoming a favored hobby.  Miniature gardening can be done at any age, inside or outside, year round or seasonally, in an expensive container or even in an old shoe.  The art of miniature gardening is only limited by your imagination.  A mini-garden can be elaborate and fancy or simply plain.  In this hands-on class you will be introduced to a variety of plants that lend themselves well to miniature gardening and you will create your own basic mini-garden to take home.
