EWC GEAR UP Program announces three EWC GEAR UP students that met the Daniels Scholarship Fund Core Values

The Eastern Wyoming College GEAR UP Program is pleased to announce three EWC GEAR UP students who received the Daniels Fund Scholarship for Wyoming. Shaylene Chantel Connolly- Douglas High School, Raina Marie Cederburg- Glenrock High School and Colter Shea Wyse- Southeast High School. These students were selected because they show strength of character, leadership potential, willingness to give back to the community, academic performance or promise and well-rounded personality.
The Daniels Scholarship Program provides a four-year annually-renewable college scholarship for graduating high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional character, leadership, and a commitment to serving their communities. Every year, Daniels Scholars are selected from the four-state region of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. Daniels Scholars currently attend more than 200 colleges and universities in 45 states.
As of June 2016, the Daniels Scholarship Program has provided nearly $138 million in undergraduate scholarships to nearly 3,500 students.
“I am so excited for these three GEAR UP students and what they have already achieved and what they will achieve in the future,” shared Judy Brown, EWC GU Director.
