EWC Highlights class date change

The Community Education office at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington announces a date change for the Travel Log: A View of Thailand.
The class will be held on Thursday October 9 from 6 – 8 pm in Tebbet Room 131 and is free and open to the public.
The Thai people call their home “land of freedom” because Thailand is the only country in Southeast Asia never colonized by a European power, thus they’ve not experienced a detachment from their culture. Although Thailand is a primary travel destination for over 16 million foreigners a year who want to experience the great food, tropical climate, majestic mountains, and great beaches, this travel log will have a bit different focus. Our tour guide, Court Merrigan lived in Thailand for five years and returned to Thailand with his family this past summer. He will bring a not-so touristy focus in his presentation, and a view of the country that only a person who has actually lived in Thailand could have. Join Court as he shares his Thailand experience through words and picture.
All attendees must complete a class registration form and can be done by calling the EWC Community Education office at 307.532.8213 or 307.532.8323 or stop by to visit them at 3200 West C Street in Torrington.
