The Community Education office at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington is now accepting enrollments for the following classes.
“What’s it all about . . . Facebook?”
Instructor: Andrew McKinley
This course will introduce you to the basics, get you into FACEBOOK for some hands-on learning and generate plenty of discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of the phenomenally popular communication website. This class will be held on Tuesday and Thursday September 27 and 29 from 6:00-8:00 pm and will cost $30.
Facebook—Beyond the Basics
Andrew will go a bit further in the areas of social media for business, clubs, hobbies, events, or advertising. This class will include hands-on time with a computer and will be held on Tuesday October 18 from 6:00–8:00 pm and will cost $25.
Skype—What’s all the hype?
The hype is that Skype has broken many barriers to communication in the age of technology, especially for those of us that still enjoy seeing the person(s) to whom we are talking. An introduction to Skype including setting up a free account for personal use as well as applications for businesses will be the focus of this class.
This class will be held on October 20 from 6:00–8:00 pm and will cost $25.
To register for these or any other classes please call the Community Education office at 307.532.8323.
