EWC Host Spring Gardening Conference

TORRINGTON, WY –
Eastern Wyoming College in conjunction with the Goshen County Master gardeners, University of Wyoming Cooperative Extensions and USDA Risk Management Agency will be hosting a Spring Gardening Conference on Saturday April 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the EWC Fine Arts Auditorium with a cost of $5.
The role of the USDA’s Risk Management (RMA) is to help producers manage their business risks through effective, market-based risk management solutions. RMA’s mission is to promote, support and regulate sound risk management solutions to preserve and strengthen the economic stability of America’s agricultural producers.
Breakout Sessions will feature local and regional gardening/landscaping experts sharing information about growing vegetables, flowers, growing the right trees, landscape gardening, soil testing, high tunnels, insects, grasshopper control, composting, growing herbs and how to use them.
