Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington will be offering a new course in the Spring 2017 semester, Principles of Management.
This course will provide an introduction to the functions of management: planning, organizing, leading and controlling. In addition management skills will be practiced for use in any organization. Additional topics include goals and strategies, decision making, structure, leadership, motivation, communication, team processes, organizational change, innovation, ethics and social responsibility. The course is designed to transfer as well as to be practiced in a very useful and pragmatic way on the job.
This course will be offered as a hybrid course. The class will meet face-to-face each Wednesday from 1-2 pm with instructor Mr. John Marrin. The remainder of the course is available online with support from Mr. Marrin.
