EWC presents Green Decisions and Sustainable Options Symposium

TORRINGTON, WY –
Eastern Wyoming College will be hosting a Green Decisions and Sustainable Options Symposium on November 17, 18, and 19th in Douglas, Torrington and Laramie, Wyoming. The symposium will be from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm and has a cost of $30.
Symposium dates and locations are as follows:
  • November 17: Douglas, EWC Branch Campus, 203 North 6th Street, Auditorium
  • November 18: Torrington, EWC Main Campus, 3200 West C Street, CTC Building
  • November 19: Laramie, UW Campus, Classroom Building, Room 222
Featured presenter is Scott Spivak, president and principal building scientist of Green Collar Crew, a national home performance contracting network. He has 25 years experience in the residential construction and energy conservation industry and is currently leading Green Collar Crew to become the premier building science, energy consulting and home performance contracting company in Charlotte, Seattle-Olympia, Denver and southeast Wyoming.
Two sessions will be conducted by Spivak. Session I is Home Energy Auditing and Performance Contracting: How to create or expand your business. Session II is Do-It-Yourself Home Energy and Health Audit: Step-by-step guide to perform your own audit and improve your home.
This symposium will be facilitated by John Ely, EWC Weatherization Instructor and Master Building Scientist and Tim Nyquist, EWC Weatherization Instructor and Master Building Scientist.
