The members and advisors of SkillsUSA at Eastern Wyoming College collected donations to purchase gifts to give to the children at Torrington Learning Center.

The EWC SkillsUSA chapter has been doing this community service for 4 years. “I have great pride in our chapter for taking on this roll to be a part of the community,” said advisor and Welding Instructor Stan Nicolls “I think the members like to see how much they can raise between themselves to be able to buy needed toys, blankets, school supplies and stuffed animals” Nicolls continued. Other advisors for SkillsUSA are Andy Espinoza, Patricia Pulliam, and John Hansen.

The students raised over $200 to purchase the items and presented them to Tonya Nepper at the center on the EWC campus.
