EWC students invited to Torrington Middle School

Each quarter the 8th graders in Mrs. Wilson’s computer class learn about the Hathaway Scholarship and do career research. Mrs. Wilson invites college students and students in trades to come speak to the students about the challenges of college. This year, Ellen Creagar, Political Science instructor sent some students from her classes.

“I think the students enjoy hearing what college and post high school life is like from someone other than a teacher. The EWC students make it seem more real and help these students realize that college is just around the corner for them,” said Mrs. Wilson.
