EWC Sweeps at State SkillsUSA Competition

Eastern Wyoming College students recently traveled to Casper to compete in the State SkillsUSA competition. Team members that went to the state competition were Amber Jerke, sophomore, Cheyenne, WY, Kyle Nicolls, sophomore, Windsor, CO, Jessica Rammell, sophomore, Torrington, WY, Bartton Spracklen, sophomore, Cheyenne, WY, Everett Summers, sophomore, Rock River, WY, Tel Vineyard, sophomore, Otter, MT, Aaron Wadhams, freshman, Mitchell, NE, Ross Walker, sophomore, Hartville, WY,

The results were as follows: Individual welding competition, Tel Vineyard, won Gold, Everett Summers won Bronze. Amber Jerke won a Gold Medal in the Metal Sculpture division. Jessica Rammell, received a Gold medal in Job Interview and Photography.

The Welding Fabrication team of Amber Jerke, Kyle Nicolls, and Everett Summers brought home a Gold Medal. The Welding Fabrication team of Bartton Spracklen, Ross Walker, and Aaron Wadhams won Silver Medals.

The students also received the Runner-Up High Chapter Award.
