EWC wins fourth at Sterling tournament

The Eastern Wyoming College Lancer Golf Team played in the Northeastern Junior College tournament originally scheduled for April 12-13.  Due to the weather, the tournament was cut to one day. The Lancers finished in 4^th place with a one-day score of 307.

Leading the Lancers was freshman George Elliott, Salisbury, United Kingdom. Elliott shot 74 and tied for 5^th. Other Lancer scores were as follows:

Jared Pilkington, sophomore, Scottsbluff, NE, 75 – tied 6^th
Gonzalo Arcelay Fernandez-Meras, freshman, Munguia, Spain, 79 – tied 10^th
Trey Massey, sophomore, Lander, WY, 79 – tied 10^th
Dalton Bingham, freshman, Riverton, UT, 83

The Lancers play in Torrington April 19-20.
