Academic

Your instructors are contacting you through your EWC email (My @ewcmail) and through your Canvas Inbox and Announcements. They will provide you with individualized information pertaining to each class. If you have questions about a class, please contact your instructor directly.

Work closely with your faculty to describe the challenges you are facing and they will connect you with the supportive services we have in place.  Students who qualify for reasonable accommodations through the Americans With Disability Act will continue to receive these accommodations.  Again,  work closely with your instructors to arrange for these accommodations and contact Debbie Ochsner at 307-532-8221, 307-575-1121, or debbie.ochsner@ewc.wy.edu with questions and concerns.

If your instructor will be using Zoom for class meetings or recorded presentations, when you access Zoom through Canvas, you will be prompted to provide a password (which you will likely never need again). After that, when you join a meeting or view a recording, a Zoom browser client will download and install on your computer the first time. Other times, you will be prompted to allow opening the meeting/recording in Zoom. You may install the Zoom app on your mobile device for free.

As current summer semester classes are scheduled to be offered online, they should not be impacted and should start on time.

Instructors are working on the individual grading scale for each class. Many are making adjustments to account for the shift in the semester. Please check with your instructor to see if the grading scale published in the class syllabus has changed.

Final exams will be provided in the format that instructors deem appropriate for each individual course and the objectives being measured.  Stay in close contact with your instructors.  At this time, finals week is still scheduled for May 5-8 but be watchful for updates and changes
