Concurrent and Dual-Enrollment Classes

Guernsey-Sunrise High School junior and senior students are welcome to enroll in college classes offered through our high school and Eastern Wyoming College for high school and college credit.  These classes are offered at no cost to the students through SEA 52, passed in 2010.  Students must have the permission of both their parents and the school. In addition, they must meet the college course entrance requirements, whether those are test scores, previous course work or both.  Exceptions may be granted for freshmen and sophomores to enroll in these classes if they receive permission from the school.

We are currently offering course work in the Art, Culinary, Welding and Construction Technology departments.  We also offer  courses in the English, Math and  Spanish departments.  Dual-Enrollment classes are courses offered outside of the school day generally, and these courses are also available to traditional and non-traditional college students in the community.  These classes must meet the minimum number of students in order for the class to be held.
